Antique Cash Register Swap Meet comes to St. Charles, IL

The Cash Register Collectors Club will host the world's largest get-together of antique cash register collectors on November 12, 2009 at the Holiday Inn Express, 1600 East Main Street in St. Charles, Illinois.

The swap meet will be tailgate style in the back parking lot of the hotel from 12 noon until 3pm. The event is free and open to the public for buying, selling and swapping antique cash registers, cash register parts and anything else related to antique and old cash registers and cash register companies. Please be advised that you must have something related to antique cash registers to set up and sell at the swap meet. The swap meet is specifically for cash registers and cash register items only.

The Cash Register Collectors Club will also hold its meeting on November 12, 2009 at 6pm in the upstairs conference room inside the Holiday Inn Express. The club will have a special guest at the meeting, club member John Carini. He will speak about his book, "The Pocket Guide to Coin-Op Vending Machines". Club member Robert Schelling, who resides in Switzerland, will be attending this meeting.

Annual CRCC membership dues is $30 for U.S. members and $40 for International members. Dues include three mailings of the "The Bronze Idol" newsletter during the year and use of the club website. The CRCC has a website that can be found on your computer by going to www.crcci.org
